About this course
The course explores contemporary cake decoration across airbrushing, edible floral work, buttercream designs, watercolour effects, textures, silhouettes, edible sails and novelty sugar-paste modelling. It also covers chocolate ganache, drips, favours, royal icing and piped decorated cookies. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations with guided practice and opportunities to develop individual cake designs. The teacher observes learners’ work and provides feedback as techniques are applied.
