About this course
Participants develop a cake from preparation through decoration, with step-by-step instruction on filling, crumb coating and stacking. The course introduces fondant covering and cake-topper modelling, alongside buttercream preparation and piping with different tips. The course also explores cutting and carving Madeira sponge into numbers and novelty forms for occasions such as birthdays and baby showers. Guidance covers finishing techniques, as well as boxing and transporting decorated cakes safely.
