About this course
Participants explore different clays and learn to shape, mould and construct ceramic forms using basic hand-building methods. Beginners receive an introduction to coloured slip and fundamental glazing, while intermediate learners can extend their technical and design skills through self-directed projects. Tutor feedback is provided throughout, with opportunities to investigate methods of making, surface decoration and glazing in a mixed-level studio group.
