About this course
This course develops Mandarin for everyday and community situations, extending learners’ ability to take part in longer exchanges and manage interactions with people and services. It also continues work on understanding Mandarin in spoken and visual forms, alongside developing familiarity with pinyin and Chinese character recognition. The content builds on existing beginner-level knowledge and applies language to real-life contexts.
