About this course
The course develops practical Mandarin for common daily interactions. Learners practise situations such as shopping, ordering food, asking for directions and making simple plans, while extending their listening and speaking skills. Alongside spoken communication, the course continues work with pinyin and introduces recognition of more common Chinese characters. Activities are focused on using Mandarin in real-world contexts.
