About this course
The course examines how social media supports organisations, businesses and professional development. Participants develop content strategies for platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok, explore basic advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and consider approaches to community engagement and feedback handling. Teaching combines lectures, practical exercises, group discussions, case studies and simulated social media projects. Participants also work on performance analysis, management tools and a final strategy for a mock business or personal brand, with assignments and preparation outside class.
