About this course

The course examines how classic tailoring methods can be applied to contemporary garment making. Participants explore pattern balance, fit adjustment using working toiles, internal garment structuring, stitching techniques, fabric manipulation and pressing. Teaching combines lectures, garment examples and practical exercises, allowing learners to investigate how construction and finishing methods affect the fit and function of clothing.
