Classical guitar ensemble

An improver-level course developing classical guitar ensemble playing through notation, group rehearsal and individual work.
About this course
Participants rehearse a range of classical guitar ensemble pieces, working from notation or requesting tablature where needed. The music explores changes in dynamics, tempo and tone, including forte, piano, ritardando and accelerando. Teaching combines ensemble practice, individual work, teacher demonstrations and recordings of group rehearsals. Attention is given to listening across the ensemble so players can respond accurately to one another while maintaining rhythm and musical expression.
