About this course
The workshop combines a communal screening of Pulp Fiction with pauses for close analysis and discussion. Participants can stop at significant moments to examine camera angles, lighting, dialogue, individual scenes and sequences, and the film’s broader visual language. Discussion may also consider the film’s production history, themes, reputation and legacy. An expert introduces the film, guides debate and helps connect participants’ questions and interpretations to the way the film works.

The course is intended for film students, casual cinephiles and people interested in Pulp Fiction. No prior technical knowledge is required, although watching the film at least once beforehand is recommended.
