Coding in Python – Introduction

About this course

The course introduces Python as an object-oriented programming language. Learners work with numeric and string data types, variables, built-in functions and methods, then organise code into functions and use conditionals to control program decisions. Teaching includes writing simple Python programs, with learning assessed through homework and progress monitoring during class. Installing Python on a computer is also covered.
