About this course
The course examines how body language, voice and rapport affect workplace communication. Participants explore ways to present themselves, engage listeners, influence others, build trust, respond to objections and handle criticism. Meeting skills and speaking up are considered alongside sensitive listening and recognising communication barriers. Teaching combines talks, discussion, observation, simulations and role play, with opportunities for group feedback and evaluation. The content applies to communication both face to face and online.
