Intermediate

An online intermediate-level session introducing community interpreting and assessing written and spoken English for progression to preparation courses.

About this course

This online assessment session introduces the field of community interpreting and explains the next stage of training. Participants can ask questions about working as an interpreter before completing two English assessments: a free-writing exercise and an oral assessment led by the tutor. The assessments examine the accuracy of written and spoken English and are used to determine readiness for the Preparing for Community Interpreting course. Successful candidates receive information about enrolling on that course.
