About this course

The course introduces essential computer and internet tasks in a classroom setting. Participants will practise connecting to the internet, using websites safely, creating and saving documents with word-processing software, and composing and sending emails. It also provides an introduction to selected computer applications and time to discuss and troubleshoot problems with a home computer. In-class tasks contribute to a portfolio, with tutor feedback provided during the course.
