About this course

The course examines a selection of contemporary novels from Britain and other parts of the English-speaking world, covering varied genres, political histories and personal relationships. The opening session introduces the chosen books and their authors. Each text is then approached through a brief lecture followed by tutor-led discussion in the larger group, with questions and contributions shaping the analysis. The final session reviews the works studied as a whole.
