About this course
The class introduces contemporary dance through guided group exercises covering movement qualities, posture, body awareness and musicality. Participants work with floor-based movement, freeing exercises and simple technical exercises, alongside warm-up and stretching techniques. The session combines instruction in key movements with the opportunity to connect them into a short contemporary sequence. It is structured as an introductory class, with activities focused on exploring fundamental movement principles rather than developing a full extended routine.
