About this course
The course uses varied visual sources, including photographs, magazine imagery, objects and memories, to develop oil paintings through drawing, photocopying and collage. Learners will explore ways to combine and transform these references into a finished painting while considering both creative decisions and technical aspects of oil painting. Teaching includes group discussions and individual advice. Learners can also contribute their own visual material to the sources used during the course.
