About this course
The course examines how the voice functions through warm-ups, lectures and discussion of common vocal challenges. Learners apply vocal techniques to difficulties in their own repertoire, with examples adapted to individual needs. Teaching includes group, paired and individual activities, alongside opportunities for solo work. The course focuses on recognising effective vocal sensations, refining technical approaches and developing a more analytical understanding of singing.

The course is intended for singers with at least two years of tuition experience, as well as more advanced learners wishing to deepen their understanding of vocal function and technique. Participants should be prepared for physical and vocal warm-ups, and for some individual or solo work within a group setting.
