About this course

The course introduces how knitted fabric is formed and develops core techniques including casting on and off, knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases. Learners practise these through structured samples and manageable projects, while exploring structures such as garter stitch, stocking stitch, ribbing and simple textures. Sessions also cover basic pattern-making principles, including size, shape and stitch choice.
