About this course
Participants learn to take and record accurate body measurements, then use them to draft a bespoke pattern block. The course introduces flat pattern cutting through work on a standard block and the development of pattern pieces for a simple garment. Structured exercises focus on accuracy, consistency and basic fit adjustments. Sessions also cover professional pattern-cutting terminology, using technology as a resource and applying problem-solving skills to the drafting process.
