Creative Writing - Beginners

About this course

The course explores how ideas can be developed into short pieces and longer prose. Participants work with writing prompts and practical exercises covering plot, structure, character creation and narrative, alongside analysis of classical dramatic narrative. Teaching combines group discussion, responses to other learners’ writing, individual support and feedback. Regular assignments extend the practice beyond class, while learners produce and review creative work in fiction or non-fiction.
