About this course
The class introduces several foundations of creative writing through guided exercises. Participants generate ideas, experiment with prose, develop believable characters and begin shaping plot lines and narrative structures. Activities take place in a group setting, with opportunities to share ideas and receive constructive feedback from the tutor. The session is designed as an introduction to the teaching approach used on the provider’s longer creative writing courses.
