About this course
The course develops crochet skills through tutor demonstrations, guided practice, discussion and individual project work. Participants explore yarns, patterns and stitches while planning and producing crocheted pieces of their own. Practical work includes crocheting in rows, creating lace patterns and motifs, shaping with increases and decreases, joining seams, and applying finishing techniques. Feedback, homework and self-assessment are used to support development, alongside opportunities to share skills and ideas through individual and group projects.

Is this course right for you?
The course is described as suitable for all levels, including beginners. Some familiarity with handling yarn or simple knitting and crochet stitches may be helpful but is not essential. Before you go
- Basic materials and tools will be available.
- Learners may bring their own yarn, needles, hooks and patterns for personal projects.
