About this course

The course introduces DaVinci Resolve through the basic processes involved in editing moving-image footage. Participants work with professionally shot material, importing clips with audio and creating edits such as inserts and overlays. The content also covers narrative sequencing, A/B rolls, sound management and project output. Teaching combines workshops, short lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, and group and individual assistance. Online handouts and assignments extend the course through Google Classroom, where learners can interact and exchange peer feedback.

Is this course right for you?

The course is designed for complete beginners, although experience with other editing software may be useful. Basic computer literacy is important. Participation includes workshops, individual and group support, online activities, assignments and peer feedback through Google Classroom.
