Deep Dive: The Northern Rhône

An in-depth tasting of Northern Rhône wines, including benchmark appellations, varied styles and older vintages, suitable for all levels.
About this course
This guided tasting examines the Northern Rhône through wines from Crozes-Hermitage, Condrieu, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie and Cornas. The selection covers both white and red styles, from aromatic Condrieu and structured Hermitage to the more powerful expressions of the region’s red appellations. Several older vintages are included alongside younger wines, allowing participants to consider how Northern Rhône wines develop over time. The tasting also features examples from established producers and an apéritif of Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve.
