About this course
Participants cut and sew a selvedge denim jean through step-by-step instruction. The workshop examines 1930s and 1950s construction methods, including a continuous fly, clean construction and single-needle felled seams. Garments are constructed without overlocking, with sessions using industrial sewing machines to develop the techniques required for this style of jean-making.
