About this course

The course examines screenwriting craft through writing exercises, script and clip analysis, group discussion, presentations and peer and tutor feedback. Participants work on story development, plot structure, characterisation, dialogue and script revision, while learning industry-standard formatting. The course also covers how to create an outline or treatment for a feature screenplay or television script. Written work developed during the course includes a short screenplay and an outline for a longer project.
