Digital Photography – Intermediate

About this course

The course develops technical and creative control of digital photography, with particular attention to exposure and using a camera in manual mode. Participants examine composition, lens choice, focus and metering modes, white balance, aperture and shutter priority, and the histogram. Learning combines tutor guidance, real-world examples, individual tasks and practical sessions. Participants also analyse photographs, study the work and methods of different photographers, and produce coursework exploring new techniques and processes. Progress is reviewed through questions and answers, observation, personal learning plans and practical work.
