About this course

The course introduces the responsibilities and routine work of a business administrator, including filing and archiving, purchasing, expense claims, office supplies, meeting organisation and team workflows. It also covers customer service, complaint management, collaborative technologies, document sharing, Outlook, Excel and IT security. Learning is structured around tutor guidance, workplace examples, individual tasks and self-assessment at the beginning and end of the session. Peer and facilitator feedback is used during the course, which leads to a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification from The Skills Network.
