Double Static Trapeze

About this course

The course focuses on working with a partner on static trapeze, developing double skills, technique and a shared vocabulary of movement. After establishing the foundations, participants work with others to create sequences and may choose to share them. The class combines technical exploration with collaborative approaches to using the apparatus and responding to a partner.

Is this course right for you?

This intermediate course is intended for aerial learners who have successfully completed, or been signed off for, a Level 2 or 3 Aerial course. Participants should be prepared to work closely with others, as physical contact is an essential part of the class.

• Requires previous Level 2 or 3 Aerial study or sign-off
• Partner work involves essential physical contact
• Sequences can be shared with the group, if participants wish

Before you go

• Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms with a T-shirt or vest.
• Clean indoor trainers are requested.
• For aerial work, clothing that covers the limbs, such as long sleeves and leggings, is advised.
