About this course
The course introduces acting through drama games, improvisation, devising and exercises carried out individually, in pairs and as an ensemble. Participants explore breath and vocal technique, movement in physical space, metaphor, self-expression and character work. Sessions also cover interpreting pre-written scripts, rehearsal and responding to direction. Teaching combines guided practice with in-class feedback, while coursework is assessed throughout and submitted in a final folder. The group may also devise a showcase performance if it wishes.
