About this course
The course explores different approaches to drawing, painting and hand printmaking, including how images develop and how meaning can shift through materials and processes. Participants will experiment with combining media, manipulating images and using strategies to stimulate ideas and vary their approach to visual work. Teaching includes presentations, demonstrations, practical activities, individual and group tutoring, and discussion. Reflection on participants’ own work and progress forms part of the learning process.

Is this course right for you?
The course welcomes learners at all levels, including people with some experience who want to develop their approach and those who have mainly considered making art so far. Participation includes practical work, group discussion, demonstrations and reflection on individual work. Learners should be able to follow simple written and spoken instructions and use basic measurements and calculations.
