Participants examine works from the British Museum and other collections, considering the cultures they represent and the themes that connect them. The course also looks at differences between cultures, using museum collections as the basis for drawing and discussion. Before you go

• Participants must bring their own paper and drawing materials.
• Suggested materials include drawing pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, putty and hard erasers, a pencil sharpener and a sketchbook.
