About this course

Participants learn to configure DSLR and mirrorless cameras for video, working with exposure, frame rates, lenses, depth of field, focus and composition. The course also introduces camera movement, basic lighting and clean sound recording. Practical filming tasks cover storyboarding, shot planning, directing and recording short scenes. Teaching combines guided exercises with hands-on use of filmmaking equipment, alongside an introduction to editing workflow and small-crew production.
