About this course

The course combines demonstrations, short lectures, workshops and guided practical exercises. Participants explore exposure settings, frame rates, lenses, focus, composition, camera movement, basic lighting and clean audio recording. They also work on visual storytelling through storyboarding, shot planning and filming short fiction and non-fiction sequences, including working as part of a small film crew. Editing sessions introduce Adobe Premiere Pro, covering workflow, trimming, audio, titles and exporting. Teaching includes tutorials, hand-outs, and both group and individual assistance.
