About this course

The course examines how prices, growth, prosperity, inequality, money, banking and government policy shape everyday life and wider economic debates. It also considers trade-offs, incentives and behavioural factors in economic decision-making. Teaching combines short presentations with group discussion, case-based exploration and practical activities. Learners use basic economic concepts to consider social, financial and policy questions, and compare perspectives on markets, growth and inequality.
