About this course

The course introduces the distinction between artificial intelligence and automation, then examines machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, robotics, neural networks and computer vision. Interactive tasks, accessible analogies, real-world examples and industry case studies are used to explain how these technologies process data, support decision-making and affect business operations. It also considers bias, privacy, job impacts, accountability and responsible use, alongside market trends, regulation and future developments. Participants explore how to identify opportunities, address implementation challenges and develop an AI adoption roadmap for an organisation or professional context. Teaching takes place in the classroom and online, with no work set outside class.
