EFL – General English (Advanced)


Advanced (C1+) English course combining classroom teaching, group activities, discussion, online work and self-study.
About this course
The course develops advanced English across grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, spelling and punctuation. Learners work with topics including the environment, crime, work and news, using varied texts and listening tasks to retrieve information and interpret meaning. Writing activities cover planning and organising essays, articles and formal letters, while speaking practice applies language from the course to discussion topics. Teaching combines classroom instruction, group work, discussions, online activities and independent study. Progress is reviewed through a portfolio and Individual Learning Plan, with tutor feedback on submitted work.
