Electronic Music Production Short Course

About this course

Participants use music production software, including Ableton Live, to develop their own music, beats and compositions. Sessions combine tutor demonstrations, individual tuition, practical exercises, and pair and group work. Core production processes include arranging, generating sounds through sampling, synthesis and drum machines, mixing, and mastering. Technical terminology is explained alongside exercises that apply these methods to learners’ own production ideas, providing an introduction to developing music production projects and continuing experimentation beyond the course.
