About this course
Participants develop a self-directed ceramics project, testing ideas and making decisions about materials, techniques and processes. Work is refined through practical experimentation, revision and feedback from group discussion and critique. The course also considers how other artists work, helping participants review their own methods and direction. By the end, learners work towards a small, coherent body of ceramics that can be presented and discussed in relation to its ideas, influences and possible next steps.
