About this course

The course combines English language development with practical maths used in everyday situations. Learners work with clocks, measurements, recipes, shopping calculations, change, charts and timetables, while developing vocabulary such as add, subtract, total, more, less and equal. Activities also relate maths to family routines and children’s schoolwork, including discussing how an answer was reached and understanding maths homework. The course is taught step by step in a supportive learning environment.
