About this course
The course introduces foundational English through familiar daily situations. Learners practise listening and responding to people they know, answering simple questions about themselves, and reading everyday signs and short texts. Activities also cover writing alphabet letters, forming basic words and sentences, recognising numbers, counting to 100, and writing numbers from one to twenty in words. Learners use postcodes and Google Maps to plan simple journeys, with tutor guidance and opportunities to work at their own pace.
