About this course

The course introduces essential English for everyday communication and tasks. Learners practise recognising and writing alphabet letters, forming basic words and sentences, reading signs and simple texts, and responding to familiar people such as family members, friends and their teacher. Activities also cover answering straightforward personal questions, recognising numbers, counting to 100, and writing numbers from one to twenty in words. Learners use postcodes and Google Maps to plan simple journeys. Tutor guidance is provided while learners work at their own pace.
