About this course
The course develops foundational English through familiar, practical situations. Learners practise reading signs and short texts, writing alphabet letters, words and simple sentences, and exchanging basic personal information in speech and writing. Activities also cover numbers, daily routines, likes and dislikes using the simple present tense, and using postcodes and Google Maps to plan straightforward journeys. Tutor support is provided throughout, with learners working at their own pace in this Family Learning course.
