About this course

This ESOL course develops foundational English for everyday situations. Learners practise recognising and writing the alphabet, forming simple words and sentences, answering personal questions, and giving information such as an address or phone number. Activities also cover numbers, daily routines, likes and dislikes, familiar conversations, and reading everyday signs and short texts. The course uses tutor guidance and allows learners to work at their own pace, with examples including postcode use and Google Maps for planning simple journeys.
