About this course

The course introduces English through everyday communication and practical situations. Participants practise recognising and writing the alphabet, forming basic words and sentences, answering personal questions, and giving information such as their address and telephone number. Teaching also covers numbers to 100, daily routines, likes and dislikes using the simple present tense, and reading familiar signs and short texts. Learners use postcodes and Google Maps to plan straightforward journeys, working with tutor support at their own pace.
