About this course
The course introduces English through practical everyday situations. Learners practise recognising and writing the alphabet, forming basic words and sentences, reading signs and simple texts, and giving personal information in speech and writing. Activities also cover numbers, daily routines, likes and dislikes, and listening and responding to familiar people. Tutor guidance supports learners as they use postcodes and Google Maps to plan simple journeys, with practice taking place at an individual pace.
