About this course

Learners practise communicating information and answering questions in familiar work-related situations, with activities covering job searches, workplace communication and working with others. They explore roles that match their skills, present information about themselves, and complete a shared task while identifying their role and asking for help when needed. The course also introduces basic employee rights and responsibilities, including attendance and workplace standards. Learners build a portfolio assessed against the Ascentis Skills for Employment award criteria.
