About this course

Learners develop English for workplace and everyday employment situations through communication practice, job opportunity research and preparation for applications or interviews. The course also covers employee rights and responsibilities, including how to respond to problems at work. Participants review their own skills and interests, complete a shared task with others, and record their role and reflections. Their work is assessed against the Ascentis Skills for Employment criteria and compiled into a portfolio that can evidence their skills for employers and training providers.
