ESOL for health and care part 1: learning about the sector (ESOL level 1)

About this course

The course uses plain English to introduce the health and care sector, including roles such as care assistant and support worker. Learners explore typical daily tasks and routines, develop vocabulary for workplace discussions, and practise responding to situations such as following instructions and asking for help. It also outlines possible routes into the sector, including volunteering, training and entry-level roles. The course is exploratory and is not a qualification course.
