About this course

The course develops English for health and care settings through reading, writing and communication tasks. Learners work with short texts such as care plans and workplace notices, identify important information, and produce clear short reports or reflections. It also covers appropriate communication with service users and colleagues, including sensitive care-related situations. Alongside language development, the course explains how to identify a suitable health and care qualification or training route and what the application process involves.
