About this course
This family learning course develops basic English through health and everyday-life topics. Learners practise reading signs, labels and appointment details, writing words and short sentences, and speaking about personal information, routines and wellbeing. Tutor-supported activities include simple conversations, using numbers and postcodes, and working with digital tools such as Google Maps to plan journeys to local health services. Learners work at their own pace while exploring healthy lifestyles and how to use services such as a GP or pharmacy.
